Suburban Train Service Disruptions in Dnipropetrovsk Region

According to Novyny.live: Due to security concerns, several suburban train routes in the Dnipropetrovsk region will not operate on January 30, 2023. Specifically, train No. 6104 from Synelnykove-1 to Chapline and train No. 6107 from Synelnykove-1 to Dnipro-Holovnyi will be canceled. Furthermore, the route for train No. 6583 from Slavhorod-Pivdennyi to Zaporizhzhia-2 will be altered. These disruptions are a regular precautionary measure in regions close to active conflict zones.

These service changes are a direct response to a massive Russian air assault on Ukrainian territory that began on the evening of January 29 around 6:00 PM and continued overnight into January 30. Preliminary reports indicate that the aerial attack caused damage to railway infrastructure, though no injuries to passengers or railway staff have been reported.

Replacement Bus Service Organized

To maintain transport services during this period, replacement bus transfers have been organized in coordination with military administrations for affected train passengers. The schedule adjustments aim to prioritize passenger safety and convenience.

Given the heightened security situation in Ukraine, particularly in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the measures to restrict train movement and arrange alternative bus transport are deemed essential for public safety. Authorities and railway operators are actively working to adapt the transport system to ongoing challenges, striving to minimize risks to passengers and preserve infrastructure functionality amid military hostilities.
