Train accident in the Czech Republic
At least 42 people were injured as a result of a collision between two high-speed passenger trains in the Czech Republic, authorities reported.According to The Sun: Firefighters and paramedics urgently arrived at the scene, which occurred near Ceske Budejovice, about 100 miles south of Prague. “This is a very serious incident, and we are trying to provide all necessary assistance to the victims,” she said.
Currently, rescue operations are ongoing, and the circumstances of the accident are still under investigation. Train traffic in the region has been temporarily suspended.
