The Verkhovna Rada Extended the Deadline for the Medical Commission for Those with Limited Fit for Service
In winter, the Verkhovna Rada decided to extend the deadline for the repeat military medical commission for individuals classified as limited fit until June 2025. This decision was made during a telethon, during which members of parliament expressed their opinions on extending the deadlines.
According to the expressed opinions, some deputies support the idea of applying penalties for those who failed to complete the medical commission on time. However, other politicians are convinced that citizens need more time for this process, as conditions for passing the commission are not the same in all regions.
It should be noted that currently only 7% of those limited fit, who have undergone the repeat military medical commission, have been recognized as completely unfit for military service. The rest have been assigned to various military units depending on their health status and fitness for service.
