Russia may move towards full-scale mobilization and a war economy if peace talks with Ukraine and the USA prove fruitless. This threatens not only Ukraine but all of Europe. This opinion was expressed by retired Armed Forces of Ukraine officer Arty Green in an interview with Yuriy Romanenko.
The expert expressed concerns that in the absence of a ceasefire agreement, Russia may carry out full mobilization. According to him, Russian leader Putin will be forced to turn the country into something like North Korea and mobilize a large number of people. This could pose serious problems for Ukraine and Europe, which may not be able to deal with such an army.
Arty Green also noted that such mass mobilization in the future could pose a threat even to Putin himself, as military structures become more experienced and may become dissatisfied with the government.
