The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he is ready to leave his post if it helps achieve peace for the country. He expressed his willingness to exchange this for NATO membership. Zelensky also noted that he does not aspire to be in power for a long period.

'If peace for Ukraine, if you really need me to leave my post – then I am ready. I can exchange this for NATO.'

The President announced an important summit in Kyiv with the participation of the European Commission and key partners of the European Union. Zelensky will propose to meet in one of the capitals of Europe to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine.

The head of state emphasized the necessity of Ukraine, Europe, the USA, and Russia's participation in peace negotiations. Zelensky stated: 'This is our table, and we invite you.'

The President also spoke about financial assistance from the USA amounting to 100 billion dollars, which is a grant, not a debt. He hopes for Trump's support in ending the war and wishes that the United States would stand by Ukraine.

Negotiations regarding rare earth metals with the USA were also discussed, where the Ukrainian side proposed the formula 'You extract, we share.'

In conclusion of the press conference, the president noted that the total cost of the war is 320 billion dollars, of which 120 billion were contributed by Ukrainians, and 100 billion – by the USA and European partners.
