According to Novyny.live: On May 30, Munich Airport was forced to close after a suspected drone was spotted nearby. The incident unfolded around 9:00 AM when pilots reported seeing an unauthorized aircraft. Both runways were halted for over an hour as authorities investigated the threat.
As a result, 26 planes were rerouted to other airports and three flights were officially canceled. Normal operations resumed at approximately 10:05 AM once safety checks were completed and the danger was cleared. While the event sparked concern among travelers and aviation officials, the exact circumstances remain under investigation.
