According to UATV: A Russian drone strike on the city of Zaporizhzhia has resulted in a devastating toll: two people were killed, 11 residents suffered injuries, and a massive fire broke out in a four-story apartment building. The attack occurred around midnight, causing severe damage to nearby multi-story residential blocks and a municipal hospital building. The incident is the latest in a series of strikes targeting civilian infrastructure in Ukraine.

Among the wounded is a 15-year-old teenager. Two women lost their lives after being trapped in a third-floor apartment. The fire ignited by the strike raged for approximately six hours, inflicting extensive harm on the building and surrounding structures. Witnesses recall harrowing moments:

“Then smoke started coming in, and a firefighter ran in and said: leave the building,” recounted Lidiya, an eyewitness.

Another witness, Tetiana, recalled: “Windows shattered and flew out, the apartment windows burst open,” highlighting the blast’s intensity.
