Drone Attack on Odesa

According to UATV: On July 13, Russian forces launched a drone attack targeting transport infrastructure in Odesa, sparking a large fire and causing substantial damage. Six people were injured, including a child. This assault marks the third consecutive day of strikes on the city, heightening anxiety among residents.

Damage and Casualties

Emergency services report that six buses and 11 cars were completely burned. Among the six injured, two bus drivers required hospitalization. Separately, an attack on a civilian vessel in Odesa’s port killed five people and wounded ten others.

“I was walking my child to kindergarten. A rocket flew directly over us, and an explosion followed immediately,” recounted eyewitness Lyudmyla.

A local sanatorium on the outskirts of Odesa was also hit.

“According to preliminary information, six people were injured, including a five-year-old child,” said Maryna Averina.
Over 30 rescue workers were deployed to manage the aftermath.

The ongoing strikes have left Odesa residents deeply concerned for their safety. Doctor Vyacheslav Cherkesov described the condition of the injured: “One is on the operating table undergoing surgery; the other is regaining consciousness.” The situation remains tense as rescue crews continue to address the damage.

This attack is part of a broader pattern of Russian military activity in the region, underscoring the persistent threat to civilians. The escalating frequency of strikes on infrastructure raises serious worries not only about public safety but also about a potential worsening of the humanitarian situation. Local authorities and emergency services are working to respond, but the prolonged violence may strain their efforts.
