Massive Russian Strikes Hit Dnipropetrovsk Region: One Dead, Nine Wounded on July 13.
Military Assaults on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
According to UATV: On July 13, Russian forces launched over 50 attacks across three districts of Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, killing one man and injuring nine others. The assaults involved drones, artillery, and aerial bombs, causing severe damage and endangering local residents.
Affected Communities
The following communities bore the brunt of the attacks:
- Marhanets
- Pokrovsk
- Myronivka
- Chervonohryhorivka
In the Novopillia community, a morning strike injured two men aged 42 and 49, who were hospitalized in moderate condition. Local official Oleksandr Hanzha stated:
“According to updated information, two men aged 42 and 49 were injured in the morning attack on Novopillia. Both have been hospitalized.”
In the Synelnykove district, a 73-year-old man was killed, and three other men sustained injuries. Hanzha reported:
“A 40-year-old man was brought to the hospital in serious condition. Two women, aged 26 and 57, were hospitalized in moderate condition. Another 50-year-old man will receive outpatient treatment.”
The strikes also impacted the Kryvyi Rih district, particularly the Hrushivka and Zelenodolsk communities, as well as the Synelnykove district, where the Vasylykivka, Raivka, and Petropavlivka communities were affected. Hanzha emphasized that “the Russians continue to terrorize civilians in the region, targeting civilian infrastructure and populated areas.” These attacks have caused significant civilian casualties, raising alarm among local residents and authorities.
These latest assaults are part of an ongoing conflict in the region, which has already resulted in substantial human and material losses. According to local officials, the increasing intensity of the attacks raises concerns about civilian safety and could worsen the humanitarian situation in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Authorities are urging residents to follow safety measures and remain cautious amid the escalating violence.
