The Coastal Defense Brigade uses the 'Grad' to protect Kherson
The warriors of the 40th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade use the old BM-21 'Grad' multiple launch rocket system to fight the enemy in the direction of Kherson. The main goal of the brigade is to protect Kherson and its coastline.
'Shelling from this system is not only a physical strain, but also a psychological test,' says senior battery officer Pavlo. However, the brigade successfully destroys a large amount of enemy equipment and personnel using this weapon.
The brigade faces problems with vehicles, especially with the 'Ural' on which the 'Grad' system is mounted. The guys independently replace damaged parts, as bureaucratic processes slow down repairs.
The brigade lacks personnel, so many soldiers perform multiple tasks simultaneously. This greatly exhausts them.
According to British intelligence, the Russian army is slowing its advance in Ukraine, and its territorial gains are decreasing. Ukrainian forces successfully struck the Russian airbase 'Engels-2' using a drone that is used for attacks on Ukraine.
