When will the war in Ukraine end: expert names possible scenario

According to ТСН: Recently, there has been an active discussion about the possible end of the war in Ukraine. People's Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko emphasized: “we need to stop. We do not have extra people to send to death. We cannot afford this.”

Military expert Ivan Stupak believes that “frankly — we are not going to win. We are not reclaiming territories. Unfortunately, the Russians can break through our defenses. Another question is that this is very far from what they (the Russian army — Ed.) envisioned… The question is when Russia will be ready to end the war.”

He also made a historical parallel: “At one time, Finland looked soberly at the situation and realized it could not return certain territories. They had to recognize it, but they created a way of life that Russians now stand in line to get to Finland.”

When will the war in Ukraine end

Stupak stressed that “everything boils down to the question of territories. But the Russians do not yet have the desire to stop… They, the Russians, reason this way.” Recently, there have also been thoughts about the expediency of enhancing mobilization for better resistance against the Russian army at the front.

When will mobilization in Ukraine end

Stupak noted that “mobilization will continue. Even if the intensity of hostilities decreases. Units need rotation, and new units need to be trained. This process will continue, even if Putin, Trump, and Zelensky sit at the negotiating table.”

Iryna Friz, a representative of the parliamentary committee on national security, expressed the opinion: “Neither our strategic nor tactical goals have changed since the beginning of the full-scale invasion… The issue of mobilization remains relevant as long as there is an intensity of hostilities. By and large, it is not decreasing.”

She also added: “Russia, even considering a possible negotiation process, will sit at the negotiating table on its terms. Therefore, it will increase the intensity of hostilities… We will need to move on to more strategic matters — preparing reserves.”

Earlier, it was reported how rumors about the “end of the war” affect the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to military estimates, statements by politicians only slightly worsen the situation.

All this indicates a complex situation at the front and far from simple prospects for Ukraine. The statements of experts and politicians indicate that even with possible negotiations, the fight for territories and mobilization remain important aspects of the country's military strategy.
