Which used cars are dangerous for beginners to buy: an experienced driver provides a list.
Justin Owen, an experienced mechanic and driver, has provided an analysis of cars that should not be purchased by beginners in the secondary market. He warns that these cars can pose serious problems for inexperienced drivers.
'If you are buying a car for the first time, it is important to be aware of all the 'hidden' pitfalls. Therefore, I do not recommend buying used cars from this list if this is your first car,' warns Owen.
According to the specialist, the Ford Mustang, although it has a stylish appearance, poses a significant danger for beginners due to its powerful engine and high insurance premiums. The used Jeep Wrangler is also unsuitable for beginners as it is impractical and has low reliability. The Mercedes-Benz ML 350 4MATIC risks leading to financial problems due to expensive parts and maintenance.
The Ford F250 Super Duty Powerstroke pickup truck is not recommended for city dwellers and students due to its high fuel consumption and safety issues. The BMW M3 is not suitable for beginners as it has excessive power and high maintenance costs. The Chevrolet Aveo is also a problematic option due to low reliability and safety levels.
The list also includes the Mazda Speed 3 and Mazda RX-8, which require significant driving experience and special attention during maintenance.
