Which used French crossovers are better not to buy.
The Peugeot 3008 (2009–2016) impressed many with its appearance, but it actually hid certain problems under the hood. Owners complain about frequent failures and oil consumption, turbo issues, and other breakdowns that can drive anyone crazy. Repairs will cost a pretty penny.
The Renault Koleos (2008–2016), despite the Japanese influence from Nissan, did not escape problems. Electrical malfunctions, issues with the paintwork, and the need for constant investments in repairs make it not the best choice. The Jatco CVT does not last more than 120–150 thousand kilometers, after which it needs to be either repaired or replaced altogether.
The Citroën C4 Aircross (2012–2017) may seem like a very attractive model due to its affordable prices, but real owners have a different opinion. Suspension problems, creaks in the cabin, and unstable electronics make it a regular visitor to the service station after just 100–120 thousand kilometers of mileage.
All these models of French crossovers have their advantages, but it is worth purchasing them only after a detailed analysis of all possible nuances and risks associated with their operation. It is best to consult experienced specialists or owners who have firsthand experience with these car models before making a purchase.
