If a serviceman was sent to reserve status as partially fit or temporarily unfit after being injured, he is entitled to receive the corresponding monthly monetary allowance. This payment begins after two months of being in reserve.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has reported that servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are eligible for additional monetary allowances even when they are in reserve, meaning they are not directly participating in combat operations or performing special tasks.

Amount and conditions of payment

The amount of the additional monthly payment in such cases is 20,100 hryvnias.

The payment begins after two months of being in reserve. After 6-12 months, the serviceman must undergo re-examination at the Military Medical Commission to update his fitness status for military service. After this, the amount of the payment may change according to the serviceman's status.
