Attack on the Syzran Oil Refinery: Videos Emerged.
Explosions occurred at night in the Samara region, with local residents reporting them. The possible target of the attack was the Syzran oil refinery. This was reported by 'Glavcom' citing local Telegram channels.
Local residents published videos where automatic gunfire and between three to five explosions can be heard in the area of the Syzran oil refinery.
Judging by the loud roar after the explosion, there was a hit.
It should be noted that the refinery suspended its operations after an attack in February. It has a processing capacity of 8.9 million tons of oil per year, making it one of the medium-sized refineries in Russia. The refinery's products include fuel, aviation gas, and bitumen. In 2015, the refinery completely transitioned to production that meets Euro-5 standards. It processes oil from Western Siberia and the Samara region.
Recall that on the night of March 4, a fire occurred at an oil pipeline in the Shcherbakovsky district of the Rostov region following a massive drone attack.
At the same time, Russian Shahids attacked a children's medical facility in Sumy and Odesa.
