According to TSN.ua: On March 15, 2023, Russian forces launched a drone strike on the city of Zaporizhzhia. The attack caused damage to residential buildings, sparked a fire, and left one woman wounded. Mayor Ivan Fedorov addressed the situation, stating:
“The enemy is striking Zaporizhzhia. Residential homes have been damaged.”
Prior to the assault, warnings were issued about a group of attack drones heading toward Zaporizhzhia. This event follows a deadly escalation, as the previous day—March 14, 2023—saw a rise in casualties from an earlier attack. A young boy died in the hospital, and four people, including two children, were injured in the Zaporizhzhia district. Mayor Fedorov also noted:
“One woman sustained injuries from the attack on Zaporizhzhia. Medical staff are providing her with care.”
