Russian Strike on Mykolaiv Region: Seven Children Among Ten Wounded.
Children Among Casualties in Russian Attack on Mykolaiv Region
According to Novyny.live: On March 29, Russian forces launched an assault on Ukraine's Mykolaiv region, wounding ten civilians, including a significant number of minors. The attack injured two women—ages 40 and 18—along with five girls and three boys aged 10 to 16. The 40-year-old woman and two girls (13 and 15) are in serious condition, while the other six children sustained moderate injuries.
Aftermath of the Strike
The assault hit multiple settlements, damaging three private homes, three stores, and a vehicle. In one locality, the attack partially cut off electricity. Additionally, in the Mykolaiv district, enemy forces struck twice with FPV drones, damaging a car and a power line.
This incident is part of an ongoing pattern of aggression. Just a day earlier, on March 28, Russian forces targeted the same region with Shahed drones, wounding eight people—seven of them children. These details were reported by Vitaliy Kim via Novyny.LIVE.
The situation in Mykolaiv region remains dire, with residents continuing to suffer the consequences of repeated shelling.
The repeated strikes on Mykolaiv underscore Russia's escalating aggression, putting civilian safety—especially that of children—at grave risk. Those wounded urgently need medical care, while damaged infrastructure further disrupts daily life. Given the frequency of these attacks, the region remains on edge, and local authorities are working tirelessly to restore essential services.
