Attacks on the South of Ukraine — Will There Be a Full-scale Offensive.
Concentration of Forces in the South of Ukraine
The Armed Forces of Russia are activating their activities in the south of Ukraine, where they plan to intensify their assault operations. However, they are not currently launching a large-scale offensive due to technical difficulties. This was reported by Vladyslav Voloshyn, a representative of the Joint Forces Operation, during a broadcast on Den.LIVE.
Assault by Small Groups
The enemy troops are accumulating forces on the southern front, particularly towards Zaporizhia. However, only small infantry groups are planned to be used for the assault. This is related to the fact that previous attempts at large-scale offensives ended with significant losses.
'The enemy has already realized several times that large-scale assaults are ineffective and result in substantial losses – from manpower to equipment. Therefore, now the adversary has begun to use drones to cover the front line of the Ukrainian defense, and only after that does it start an assault with high intensity,' – explained Vladyslav Voloshyn.
He also noted that the Russian forces have not been able to achieve significant advances in the south for some time, although they continuously conduct assaults.
During the intensification of hostilities in the south of Ukraine, there is noticeable restraint from the Russian Federation in launching full-scale offensives, indicating a difficult situation on this front and internal problems for the enemy.Read also
