Drone Attacks on Odesa and Kyiv Regions: One Woman Killed, Three Children Among the Wounded.
Russian drone strikes hit Odesa and Kyiv regions
According to Espreso.tv: Russian drone attacks have been reported in the Odesa and Kyiv regions, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to five people, including three children. Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, stated that in one settlement, an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle struck a two-story apartment building.
“Unfortunately, a woman was killed,” Kiper said.
The attack in the Odesa region also damaged the following:
- a two-story residential building;
- the roof of a private home;
- a warehouse used for storing tobacco.
A leak in a main gas pipeline caused a fire to break out.
Situation in the Kyiv region
In the Kyiv region, according to Ruslan Oliinyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, five people were injured in the Bucha district, three of whom are children.
“The attack damaged a residential building and sparked a fire. Rescuers quickly extinguished the blaze,” Oliinyk reported.
Another private home was also damaged in the Bucha district. In the Boryspil district, office and warehouse facilities were hit, along with two vehicles.
These strikes highlight the ongoing military operations across Ukraine, which continue to cause civilian casualties and damage infrastructure. Local authorities are actively responding to the situation, working to ensure safety and provide assistance to those affected. The incidents underscore the growing threat posed by unmanned aerial vehicles, emphasizing the need for enhanced security measures and civilian protection.
