According to UATV: On July 21, a Russian attack struck Odesa, leaving three people injured, two of whom required hospitalization. The strike hit the city's central district, including Shevchenko Park, damaging residential buildings, commercial properties, and an architectural landmark. The weapon used was a jet-powered Shahed drone, a type frequently employed in such assaults. This latest incident underscores the ongoing danger faced by civilians in Ukraine's port city.

Witnesses described the blast's intensity. One victim, Oleksandr, recounted:

“The shockwave threw me through the doors, and I ended up lying in the hallway. All the windows were blown out. I have a dog and four cats—we found three of the cats, but one is still missing.”

Another witness, Tetiana, said: “I had just walked in, was cleaning the entrance, and then the explosion came.” Heorhii, who was nearby, added: “The blast was close—it shook hard, but felt soft. A missile hits harder.”
