Rescue Operation Underway in Zaporizhzhia

According to UATV: A large-scale rescue effort is currently in progress in Zaporizhzhia following Russian airstrikes on July 21, 2023. The attack targeted a multi-story residential building, resulting in two fatalities and nine injuries. Flames have spread from the first to the seventh floor, significantly complicating the work of emergency responders.

In addition to Zaporizhzhia, strikes also hit Kherson, where one person was killed and two were wounded. In Odesa and the surrounding region, four floors of a residential building sustained damage. Overall, during the night of July 21, Russia launched an assault on Ukraine using 58 attack drones.

Ukrainian President's Response

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the situation, stating: 'Today, there were strikes on Kherson as well, using guided bombs and various types of drones, including FPVs.'

He also stressed the need for continued international backing: 'The adoption of the 21st sanctions package by the European Union is essential, as is support for our defense.'

Emergency services remain on-site at the scenes of these tragedies, working to assist victims and mitigate the aftermath of the attacks. The situation remains tense, and authorities are urging civilians to exercise caution and follow official guidelines.
