According to UATV: Russian military strikes have killed and wounded civilians across multiple regions in southern Ukraine, including Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk. The assaults destroyed critical infrastructure and caused widespread damage. At least two people were killed and eight others injured as a result of the shelling, according to reports.
Details of the Strikes
In Zaporizhzhia, a 56-year-old man driving a minibus was killed in the attack. One district of the city lost electricity for 15 hours due to the strikes. Ivan Fedorov stated,
“one district of Zaporizhzhia was left without power because of the strikes.”Three people, including a child, were also injured by a drone strike.
In Kherson, a 70-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman were wounded; the woman sustained blast injuries. The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported,
“a 74-year-old woman was injured in the attack and suffered explosive trauma.”In the Dnipropetrovsk region, one person was killed and another wounded during the assault.
Additionally, Russian forces targeted Odesa, damaging residential buildings and infrastructure. Rescue operations are ongoing, and one victim has been taken to a medical facility where they are receiving necessary care, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.
These attacks are part of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, where civilians frequently bear the brunt of hostilities. The destruction of homes and critical infrastructure underscores the severity of the humanitarian crisis.
