Fighters of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade "Azov" captured a Russian soldier named Oleg Kosolov. He ended up with the National Guard after a short "journey" around the outskirts of New York.

The occupier was delivering ammunition and provisions to the front line but mistakenly took a wrong turn. As a result of shelling, his truck was damaged, and the Russian had to wander through the city's developments for several days.

Thanks to the successful actions of drone operators, the soldier reached the positions of "Azov" and surrendered. During interrogation, the occupier detailed all the events that preceded his capture. Fighters of the 12th brigade also showed the soldier how Russians execute Ukrainian prisoners of war. He reacted sharply to the video.

What a horror

Let's recall, law enforcement is investigating 49 criminal cases on the murders of 124 Ukrainian prisoners of war on the battlefield. For instance, in Donetsk region, occupiers killed six captive fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It had earlier become known that Russians executed captured National Guardsmen near Selydove.

It was reported that in the Bakhmut direction, Russian invaders executed a likely wounded serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who had been captured by them; law enforcement has initiated an investigation.

Additionally, on October 18 in the Donetsk region near Selydove, Russian troops committed another war crime. The occupiers shot two captured Ukrainian fighters.

It is known that Russia often returns dismembered bodies of Ukrainian captives to their families, likely to conceal signs of torture.
