Most of the liberated sea area remains a 'grey' zone - Ukrainian Navy.

The part of the sea area that was liberated from the Russians still remains an unsecured 'grey' zone, said the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Navy, Captain of the third rank Dmytro Pletenchuk.

According to him, the ship component is absent, but Russian aviation continues to actively operate over the western and southern coasts of Crimea.

He also noted that in the northern and southern parts of Crimea, enemy aviation activity is observed, and Russian submarines periodically enter the Black Sea.

Pletenchuk also noted that the Russians do not risk securing their bases with surface ships and refuse interbase transitions.

Previously, they took off from the Sea of Azov, but after a noticeable increase in the fire activity of the Ukrainian army, they no longer risk making such transitions.

"The last one was during the exit from the Sea of Azov after they realized it was a dangerous area, and yesterday we confirmed once again that this area is under our fire control. Then they quickly returned to this base. From Crimea, such an exit was also after several accurate strikes," summed up Pletenchuk.
