More than 100 new languages: Google Translate awaits a massive update.

Google Translate added 110 new languages
The popular Google translation service has received the largest update in its history - it now supports 243 languages. With the help of the PaLM 2 artificial intelligence model, Google engineers have trained the translator to process even the most complex languages that contain tones and dialects.
One of the most popular languages added is Cantonese, which is the second most widespread in China. Afar, a language spoken in Djibouti, Eritrea, and Ethiopia, is also now present in the translator. The Crimean Tatar language, which is classified by UNESCO as needing additional protection, will also appear in Google Translate.
In total, about 110 new languages have been added to the translator, most of which have millions and even hundreds of millions of speakers.
In addition to updating the translator, Google has also launched an anti-disinformation campaign in five European Union countries. To do this, from March, advertising videos will be launched on TikTok and YouTube platforms.
The Ukrainian government will also receive support from Google - the company will provide 5000 security keys, which will help strengthen the security of user accounts and ensure the protection of critical operations.
