Rocket strike on Belgorod: the city is left without electricity and water.
According to inkorr.com: As a result of the rocket attack on Belgorod, there was a significant power outage. Four powerful explosions were heard during the shelling, and the rockets reached their targets without hindrance. Among the facilities that were attacked are the Belgorod CHPP and the 'Luch' substation. As a result, there is a complete power outage in the city: elevators stopped, stores were unable to accept cashless payments, and transportation experienced disruptions. Many streets were left without lighting, and traffic lights also went out of order.
After the rocket shelling, the residents of the city faced a lack of internet and water supply. People found themselves in difficult conditions, with some getting stuck in elevators due to the unexpected power outage. The situation with power supply also affected other settlements in the Belgorod region.
The Belgorod 'governor' reported 'quite significant' disruptions in power supply following the Ukrainian attack. 'We are currently assessing the consequences and will take maximum measures to connect everything where there is the opportunity and necessity to reserve generation,' said Gladkov.
Work to restore power in the Belgorod region will continue, and it is projected to complete only on Monday. The company 'Rosseti' did not provide an exact schedule for the restoration but noted that the cause of the emergency disconnection was 'unfavorable weather conditions.'
The attack on power stations in Belgorod has led to prolonged outages, significantly complicating the daily life of many residents and causing numerous problems in the city's functioning.
