Bloomberg: Zelensky proposed holding a summit in India to end the war with Russia.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky proposed holding a summit in India aimed at ending the war with Russia. This proposal was made during the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Ukraine last week.
Zelensky plans to hold a second meeting of leaders before the U.S. presidential elections in November. This will be a continuation of the summit that took place in June to ensure the support of Global South countries in the war with Russia.
Holding a meeting in India would be seen as progress in Kyiv, as India cautiously approaches the initiative due to the absence of Russia. Narendra Modi has not yet agreed to hold such a meeting but has supported Ukraine's sovereignty within its internationally recognized borders.
The Prime Minister of India has shown readiness to play a "constructive role" in the peace process. However, an official representative of the Ministry of External Affairs of India stated that it is too early to talk about specific details and paths at this stage.
Due to the continued military actions in the Donetsk region and the Kursk region of Russia, diplomatic efforts have gained even greater importance. But resolving the conflict through diplomacy remains a challenging task, as both sides continue to advance.
Presidential spokesman Serhiy Nykyforov reported that Ukraine is considering holding the summit in a Global South country, particularly in India.
