Russia is storming the north of Pokrovsk: how Ukrainian paratroopers are stopping the enemy

According to ТСН: Russian troops have intensified their attempts to advance into the northern part of Pokrovsk, which is located above the railway. The current cold weather complicates combat operations for both sides.

As reported by the 7th Army Corps of Air Assault Forces, Ukrainian defenders are not allowing the enemy to advance north of Pokrovsk. In particular, the 25th Separate Air Assault Sicheslav Brigade successfully repelled an attack by over 20 occupiers and completely destroyed an enemy assault group.

The enemy is also trying to become more active in the industrial zone in the northwestern edge of the city. Their intent is to concentrate forces for further advancement towards Hryshyne.

The defense forces are taking preventive measures: they are striking with drones and artillery to prevent the enemy from accumulating resources or launching offensive operations.

The cold weather complicates combat operations, but Ukrainian units are provided with everything necessary to maintain combat readiness in cold conditions. In particular, the supply of warm clothing and individual heating devices for military personnel has been organized.

Logistics in the combat zone remains challenging. Heavy drones and ground robotic platforms are actively used for the delivery of essential cargo.

The situation in the Pokrovsk direction

We remind that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, noted that the Pokrovsk direction remained the epicenter of the fiercest battles, with about 50 combat clashes recorded daily. The Commander confirmed that the northern part of Pokrovsk remains under Ukrainian control, and in Myrnohrad, Ukrainian forces are effectively stopping the enemy. Particular attention is paid to uninterrupted logistics and supply routes for ammunition, which is critically important for the sustainability of defense.

Analysts from the DeepState project updated the battle map, recording the advancement of Russian troops in several critical points. In Kharkiv region, the enemy advanced in the urban development of Vovchansk and near the village of Vilcha. In the Pokrovsk direction, the situation remains tense: the occupiers have achieved success within the city and advanced to the settlements of Shakhove and Nova Shakhove.

In this situation, support for Ukrainian troops in the fight against the aggressor is crucial. Continuous attention to logistics and providing military personnel with necessary resources is vital for the sustainability of defense. Maintaining control over the territory underscores the determination of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the country.
