Cousins met after 27 years of separation by chance in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Cousins Puma and Seraphim had not seen each other for many years due to distance and borders. But after 27 years of separation, they accidentally met in the 'Freedom of Russia' legion and are now fighting together against Russian aggression. The brothers confessed in an open interview with Volodymyr Zolkin.
Puma explained that he was born into a military family. Their family often moved from place to place, and when Puma was a teenager, he lived in Russia for two years, where he obtained a Russian passport. Then he returned to Ukraine, but due to family circumstances and bureaucracy, he was unable to obtain a Ukrainian passport. Therefore, when Russia invaded Ukraine, Puma decided to defend his country. However, it turned out that with a Russian passport he could not join the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so he joined the 'Freedom of Russia' legion.
Seraphim, Puma's brother, grew up in a village near Tomsk. He had his own business, but it was taken away from him, and he was forced to sign a contract. One Time he decided to request a leave of absence, but he was categorically refused, being told that without a bribe there was no chance of getting a vacation. Seraphim became outraged and soon ended up in an assault group with a standard rifle. He was taken prisoner by Azov fighters, after which he decided to join the ranks of Ukrainian warriors.
The brothers say they initially did not recognize each other, but during the conversation learned that they were cousins.
Let us remind you that Russian volunteers entered the suburbs of Shebekino in the Belgorod region in the summer of 2023, and the fighters of 'Freedom of Russia' offered the residents of Belgorod region evacuation to Ukraine.
The commander of the 'Russian Volunteer Corps' Denis Nikitin addressed the governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov, offering to personally transport the captured Russian invaders. However, the governor did not meet with the volunteers and did not take the captured soldiers.
Earlier, the 'Freedom of Russia' legion showed battles with the occupiers in the Belgorod region.
