Arrest of Suspected Bandits
Two alleged British gangsters with ties to the Irish mafia were arrested in Colombia. One of them was caught by police while embracing his pet. Heavily armed law enforcement conducted the operation by climbing ladders to reach the property in Medellin.During the storm of the building, with weapons drawn, the police were shocked to see the detained men.“They looked completely stunned when we burst in,” said one of the officers. The arrest occurred without violence, and no weapons were found on the suspects during the operation. This arrest reflects the active efforts of law enforcement in the fight against crime that has international dimensions. Operations in Colombia demonstrate that local police are ready to act decisively against criminal groups, even if they have foreign connections.
