According to Espreso.tv: Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Presidential Office, has predicted a worsening in relations between Ukraine and Poland, potentially linked to the upcoming anniversary of the Volyn tragedy on July 11. Bilateral tensions escalated significantly after Polish President Karol Nawrocki revoked the Order of the White Eagle from Volodymyr Zelenskyy on June 19. This decision sparked outrage within Ukrainian society and triggered a fresh wave of diplomatic disputes between the two neighboring nations.

In response to these developments, Ukraine submitted an 'anti-crisis package' of proposals to Poland on July 4, aiming to resolve existing disagreements. Budanov emphasized the need for constructive dialogue, stating,
