WIZZ Air Reduces Number of Flights from Gatwick Airport
According to The Sun: WIZZ Air is reducing its operations at the second busiest airport in the UK. The budget carrier, founded in Budapest, has decided to cut the number of flights from Gatwick Airport due to financial losses.
'High operating costs and an unfavorable flight schedule have made Gatwick a burden on our productivity,' said the company's CEO József Váradi.
This decision by WIZZ Air may serve as a signal to other airlines regarding the challenges of conducting business in the face of financial difficulties faced by carriers in Europe. The reduction of flights may affect the choices of passengers planning to travel from this airport.
