Chinese supercar Yangwang U9 receives a track version: 3000 hp and 350 km/h.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China has published the technical specifications of the new track modification of the electric supercar Yangwang U9 in its latest catalog, reports CarNewsChina.

The model features four electric motors, one on each wheel, with a combined power of 3019 hp and a top speed of 350 km/h. The price of the supercar will be approximately $231,000.

Design changes in the track version are practically minimal: red body, black trim, 20-inch wheels, carbon roof and rear wing, adjustable rear diffuser. Available options include a front splitter and electric drive for the rear wing. The dimensions of the car are: length 4966 or 4991 mm, width 2029 mm, height 1351 mm, wheelbase 2900 mm. Weight ranges from 2480 to 2630 kg.

The serial U9 is already equipped with an 80 kWh battery that allows for a range of 450 km and can charge from 30% to 80% in just 10 minutes. The suspension includes double wishbone and multi-link setups, as well as a BYD DiSus-X management system.

In 2024, Yangwang U9 set a speed record for production cars in China - 391.94 km/h and achieved a time of 7:17.900 at the Nürburgring. The release date of the model to the market has not yet been provided.
