It will be a very big day. Trump intrigued the network.
US President Donald Trump announced a 'very big date' at the beginning of April 2025. This was reported by 'Glavcom'.
'April 2 will be a very big day,' Trump said, without specifying what event could be behind this.
Experts suggest that this may relate to the introduction of new economic sanctions against Canada. It was previously announced that new tariffs on car imports to the US will be established on April 2.
It's also interesting that Trump decided to cancel the decision to impose a 50% tariff on steel and aluminum from Canada, keeping it at 25% as planned.
Recall that the US made no exceptions for Australia in imposing tariffs on steel and aluminum, which could worsen relations between the two countries. The new tariffs will take effect at midnight on March 12.
A White House representative confirmed that there are no exceptions for US trading partners.
