The leader of Russia, Vladimir Putin, made a new statement regarding the war in Ukraine. He said this during an interview with his propagandist Pavel Zarubin, which was dedicated to his 25th anniversary in office.
Putin stated that he has not had to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine.
'They wanted to provoke us, they wanted us to make mistakes. And there was no need to use the weapons you are talking about. I hope that there will continue to be no need,' the Russian leader said.
At the same time, he stated that Russia already has enough strength and resources to achieve its goal set by the Kremlin.
Putin also expressed confidence that reconciliation with Ukraine will be achieved in the future.
'Reconciliation with Ukraine is a necessity, it is only a matter of time,' the Russian leader added.
Let us recall that the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, responded to Putin's statement.
