Czech Republic to supply Ukraine with 1.5 million shells by the end of the year: agreement details.
According to inkorr.com: The Czech Republic plans to provide Ukraine with 1.5 million large-caliber shells by the end of the year. This decision was announced after negotiations between Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
'We will supply Ukraine with at least 1.5 million units of ammunition, as we did last year, and I believe that this year we will exceed that number,' - stated Petr Fiala.
The NATO Secretary General expressed gratitude to the Czech Republic for these supplies and emphasized the importance of strengthening defense efforts. He also highlighted the need to provide security guarantees to Ukraine. In this context, 26 countries confirmed their support in strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
This decision demonstrates the continuation of international support for Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict. The supply of weapons from the Czech Republic and other countries is a significant step in strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and enhancing its security on the international stage.
