The green diamond found in India worth £40,000: the story of the discovery.
Friends from India have found a green diamond worth over £40,000
According to The Sun: Two childhood friends from India are celebrating a find that could change their lives: a green diamond worth more than £40,000.
Sateesh Khatik, 24, and Sajid Mohamed, 23, discovered the precious stone in the city of Panna, known for its poverty and diamond reserves. When they brought the stone to an official appraiser, its true value was confirmed.
“It’s truly a miracle. We never imagined we would find something so valuable,” said the young men.
The friends plan to use part of the proceeds from the sale of the diamond to support their families and develop the local community.
This discovery is not only important for the men themselves but could also serve as a real impetus for improving living conditions in their area. Support from young people who have the opportunity to improve their lives can bring positive changes for other residents of Panna.
