China Censors Conversation Between Putin, Xi and Kim on Immortality: What the Leaders Discussed.
According to The Sun: China is trying to smooth over the unusual moment when Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and Kim Jong-un discussed issues of immortality.
The trio of dictators was caught by a microphone as they were sent to review China's largest military parade on Wednesday.
Audio from the broadcast captured the three “octopuses of evil” discussing how biotechnology could allow people to live up to 150 years. ReutersOn the audio that was broadcast live, they discussed the potential of biotechnology to significantly extend life. Putin even noted that multiple organ transplants could lead to “possible” attainability of immortality.
Chinese radio and television press reported that the parade coverage was viewed 1.9 billion times online and over 400 million on television.
However, later Beijing tried to cover up this conversation and make the world forget about it.
Reuters, one of the largest media agencies, was instructed to remove this video from its site.
Chinese state media revoked the license for using the clips and urgently demanded their removal.

A four-minute video capturing the moment with a hot microphone was sent to more than a thousand international media clients of the news agency.
Representatives of CCTV stated that cutting the material “led to a clear distortion of the facts and statements contained in the licensed broadcast.”
To avoid inconvenience, Reuters removed the video from its site and complied with the “stop order” from its clients.
In a statement, the agency noted that it no longer has the legal ability to publish this material, although the editorial insists that it did not violate journalistic ethics.
An Unforced Conversation Among Three Leaders
This incident is unprecedented: Xi, Putin, and Kim, who usually control media, allowed themselves candid conversations.
During the chat, Xi, 72 years old, said to Putin: “In the past, people rarely lived to 70, but now at 70 you are still a child.”
Putin responds: “With the development of biotechnology, human organs can be continuously transplanted, and you could live younger, even achieve immortality.”
Xi adds: “Forecasts indicate that there is a chance to live to 150 years in this century.”
Kim, 41, silently listens, smiling during the conversation.
As soon as the conversation ends, the image switches back to a wide shot of Tiananmen Square, while the sound fades away.
Later, during a press conference in Beijing, Putin confirmed that he did indeed discuss how “people can live longer” — a clear hint at the moment with the hot microphone.

It should be noted that all three leaders, who had not met before, are known for their strictly controlled public appearances. They manage the media space and often can accurately dictate what is allowed for publication.
However, during the tense day of the military parade, they allowed themselves to show their true faces.
