Ukraine's Defense Operations
According to UATV: Ukraine's defense forces have launched strikes against Russian military targets in Crimea, including a railway bridge, while also confirming the results of previous attacks on enemy logistics. The railway bridge over the Krasnogvardeysky Canal was struck on the night of July 3, 2023. These actions aim to reduce the offensive capability of the Russian army.
As part of operations targeting military infrastructure, several other strategic sites were also attacked. Specifically, they hit:
- an electronic warfare station near Artemivka in Crimea;
- a drone control center near Ukrainska in Donetsk region;
- an enemy command post near Novgorod in Zaporizhzhia region.
Additionally, on June 29, 2023, the destruction of two spans of a road bridge in Zaporizhzhia region was confirmed, and on July 1, 2023, three spans of a road bridge over the Kalka River in Donetsk region were destroyed. Ukraine's Security Service also struck two airfields in Crimea: Saky and Gvardiyske. These operations highlight the increased activity of Ukrainian forces in countering Russian aggression and their efforts to degrade the enemy's military potential.
Ukraine's Strategic Approach
These strikes underscore Ukraine's strategic approach to combat operations, focusing on destroying key enemy military infrastructure. This may also signal a shift in Ukrainian tactics aimed at limiting the Russian army's capabilities in occupied territories. Future developments will likely reveal how these actions affect the overall course of the conflict and the military situation in the region.
