Will there be power outages on August 11: Ukrenergo's forecast.
On Sunday, August 11, power outage schedules will not be applied. This was reported by Ukrenergo.
Tomorrow, August 11, consumption restriction measures will not be applied», the statement said.
At the same time, energy workers advise using powerful electrical appliances from 11:00 to 15:00.
Recall that on Saturday, August 10, consumption restriction measures will not be applied.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Energy assures that even if Ukraine experiences heat waves like in July again, the return of strict power outage schedules is not currently forecasted. However, it is worth remembering potential Russian attacks on energy facilities, which could change the situation.
Repairs of nuclear power plants
It was previously known that NAEK Energoatom plans to carry out repairs on two more power units of nuclear power plants in 2024 as part of the preparation for the upcoming heating season.
By the way, DTEK plans to restore 60-70% of the generation lost due to massive Russian shelling last spring by October.
In addition, Ukrenergo forecasts a reduction in power outages in August-October. The head of Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, noted that the electricity deficit in Ukraine's energy system will gradually decrease during August, September, and October, provided there are no new large-scale shellings.
