Head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence Kyrylo Budanov reported this in an interview with 'Suspilne'.

When asked whether there are voices in Putin's circle advocating for the end of the war, Budanov replied:

“A lot. A lot. And there are more now than before.”

According to him, such views exist in the Kremlin, despite the advances of Russian troops at the front.

“So what is the price of the advancement? Can you imagine how much one day of war costs? It’s expensive even by Russian standards, which spare nothing for war,”

Negotiations for ceasefire

Earlier, Kyrylo Budanov noted that the territorial question is the main 'stumbling block' in the negotiations regarding the end of the war in Ukraine.
