Three-week frosts in Kyiv are unlikely: when to expect a sharp drop in temperature.
Weather forecast in Kyiv
According to ТСН: In Kyiv, there are no expectations for three-week frosts in the near future. According to meteorologists, the likelihood of such a development is only 10%.
Andriy Zakrevskyi, Deputy Director of the Association of Energy and Natural Resources of Ukraine, noted:
“The probability of a cold snap next week is only one-third”
He also predicts that the temperature will sharply drop on February 27-28 with a probability of 65%.
According to the information from Ukrhydrometcentre, temperatures in Ukraine will begin to rise in the second half of January, and a decrease in frosts can be expected around the 17th-19th.
These forecasts indicate that winter in Ukraine will not be as harsh as in previous years. A gradual increase in temperature will allow for a more pleasant winter weather. Meanwhile, keep a close eye on upcoming forecasts, as even small changes can significantly affect conditions. For now, most Kyiv residents can expect relatively warm days for the upcoming week.
