Is there a planned power outage in the summer? Answer from the Ministry of Energy.
The energy system in Ukraine operates without any disruptions during peak load season, thanks to the diligent work of energy workers. According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Energy, Olena Shapoval, maintenance work is being carried out on schedule, and power outages may occur only in exceptional cases.
«The only possible application of outages is in case of strikes on energy infrastructure», Shapoval emphasized.
The director of energy programs at the Razumkov Center, Volodymyr Omelchenko, noted that this summer there may be power outages, but the situation in the energy system is much better than before. Attacks on energy infrastructure have occurred infrequently, and damaged facilities have been restored, which guarantees readiness for loads.

According to information from Ukrenergo, networks and substations are ready for the increase in loads this summer and in the future. According to Ukrainian energy workers, power outages in the summer will be rare and possible only in the event of strikes on energy infrastructure.
