Russian troops entered Hrabovske: how the Armed Forces of Ukraine are stopping the enemy's advance.
According to ТСН: After breaking through the border and entering the village of Hrabovske, Russian occupiers are trying to advance deeper into the Sumy region, but their attempts are failing.
This was reported by Andriy Demchenko, a spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS), during a national telethon.
“Regarding the Russians who entered there and are trying to advance deeper into our country's territory, they are not succeeding because all components of the defense forces and the troops of the Armed Forces, as well as the units of the State Border Guard Service are not allowing the enemy to do so, using both artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles,” he assured.
He noted that when the enemy intensified, Ukrainian troops were forced to retreat from some positions. However, “at the same time, I want to emphasize once again, the enemy is unable to advance beyond this settlement, and fire damage is inflicted on them while holding the positions where our servicemen are located.”
Demchenko also emphasized that in the Khotyn and Yunakivka communities, the enemy is showing activity, trying to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops.
We remind you that on December 18, Russian occupiers entered the village of Hrabovske in the Sumy region, which is located on the border line with the Russian Federation, and took about 50 local residents to Russian territory.
The situation in these areas remains tense as Ukrainian troops continue to resist the enemy's aggression. Defense operations are aimed not only at protecting the territory but also at ensuring the safety of local residents who find themselves in the conflict zone. The increasing activity on the part of the occupiers indicates the prolonged nature of the conflict and the need to maintain readiness for defense.
