Kyiv Fuel Prices as of March 2023
According to Novyny.live: Fuel prices in Kyiv have held steady at a high level as of the morning of March 7, 2023. The cost of A-95 gasoline starts at 68.99 UAH per liter, while A-100 gasoline is priced from 79.90 UAH per liter. Prices for A-92 gasoline range from 65 UAH per liter.
In Kyiv, diesel fuel can be purchased for between 66.99 UAH and 73.99 UAH per liter. The price of autogas (LPG) also varies, ranging from 40.00 to 41.98 UAH per liter. Experts note there is no actual fuel shortage in Ukraine. Dmytro Liushkin, for instance, emphasizes the absence of a deficit, a factor which can influence pricing policy.
Future Outlook for Fuel Costs
Regarding future price trends, according to Serhii Kuiun,
"the price of diesel fuel in Ukraine is unlikely to exceed 80 hryvnias per liter."This points to market stability, even though fuel costs remain elevated. The situation in Ukraine's fuel market underscores a period of stability despite high prices, which is a significant consideration for a nation managing wartime economic pressures.
Consequently, consumers in Kyiv are currently facing stable but high fuel prices. The lack of a fuel shortage suggests supply is adequate for current demand, a positive factor for consumers. Given expert forecasts, prices are not expected to rise significantly in the near term, which may ensure a degree of stability in Ukraine's fuel pricing.
