According to Novyny.live: Ukraine remains under martial law with a general mobilization in effect. Conscription applies to men aged 25 to 60, while women may enlist voluntarily or under specific categories.

Under current legislation, men under 25 who are not classified as military liable are not subject to the draft. The maximum age for removal from military registration is 60. It is important to note that Ukrainian men eligible for service who have failed to update their records or ignored a summons may face restrictions. As Ruslan Horbanko stated:

“Such measures can include being added to the debtor registry and having bank accounts frozen.”

Obligations of Military-Liable Individuals

Additionally, it should be emphasized that territorial recruitment centers (TCCs) are not authorized to detain men at home during mobilization. Given these conditions, all military-liable Ukrainians must carefully fulfill their duties and comply with legal requirements.

This mobilization is part of Ukraine's broader efforts to sustain national defense amid an ongoing military conflict. The importance of legal compliance and active citizen participation underscores the seriousness of the situation and the need for collective action to protect the state. As martial law continues, Ukrainians should remain prepared for possible changes to conscription rules and requirements that may arise in response to shifting frontline circumstances.
