Ukraine has prepared a video about the destruction and oppression of the Ukrainian language, which contains facts and arguments for Russian-speaking Ukrainians. This was reported by the press service of the project "The Language Question".

The video talks about the prolonged process of destroying the Ukrainian language over more than 300 years and encourages Russian-speaking Ukrainians to switch to their native language. It also motivates viewers to explore history and understand the influence of history on human consciousness.

The video contains a number of facts about how the Ukrainian language was destroyed and humiliated, how the "special operation" on the Ukrainian issue has been ongoing for more than 300 years, and what the true history of Ukraine is. The video provides the same arguments that will help convey to Russian-speaking Ukrainians the importance of switching to "nightingale", motivating the viewer to conduct their own research, and intriguing those who currently do not understand the full depth and strength of history's influence on human consciousness.

It is noted that the idea for the video arose during a conversation with Kharkiv entrepreneur Dmytro Brezinsky. He reported that his team of employees was against returning to the Ukrainian language in everyday communication.

We see that the language issue in Ukraine has a very large inertia, and even some people who gave up on "the language" at the beginning of the great war are now experiencing a rollback. Because it is tense, because it is faster and easier this way. But actually – because the reason to give up was purely emotional: I hate Russians, I don't want to be like them. Without understanding the historical background, the true history of the Ukrainian language, with a subconscious belief in the paradigm "Ukrainian = rural"

We remind you that the Ministry of Education and Science supported the ban on communicating in Russian during school breaks. Oksen Lisovyi noted that in all decisions that protect the Ukrainian language, the development of languages of the national communities of the European Union should be taken into account.

Kyiv leads in the number of complaints about language law violations. In the first half of 2024 alone, 365 registrations were made in the capital.
