No Mandatory Evacuation Ordered in Chuhuiv: Officials Deny False Claims.
Current Situation in the Chuhuiv Community
According to Novyny.live: Authorities in the Chuhuiv community have officially denied rumors of a mandatory evacuation, stating that no such directive has been issued. Mayor Halyna Minaieva stressed that reports suggesting otherwise are completely false.
A deadly attack on June 9 claimed the lives of three people: two men aged 56 and 70, and a 22-year-old pregnant woman. Another 18 individuals were injured in the same incident, including young children. This tragedy sparked widespread concern and triggered unsubstantiated claims that an evacuation was imminent.
Despite the growing unease, no official documents support the need for evacuation. Mayor Minaieva emphasized:
“There are no documents mandating the evacuation of any settlements within the Chuhuiv community.”This clarification is crucial to prevent panic and curb the spread of misinformation among residents.
Ongoing Threats and Regional Context
On the night of June 11, Chuhuiv came under a large-scale drone attack, though fortunately no casualties were reported. Just a day earlier, on June 10, Russian forces struck a multi-story residential building in Kharkiv, leaving several people injured. These incidents highlight the volatile security situation in the region and the need for residents to remain vigilant.
For those living in the area, receiving accurate and timely information is essential after recent attacks resulted in loss of life. Local authorities urge everyone to rely only on official announcements and avoid spreading unverified rumors that could fuel unnecessary panic.
The situation in the region remains under close monitoring, and municipal leaders continue to call on residents to exercise caution and stay informed through official channels.
