The SBI revealed thousands of cases of treason: what sentences the traitors received.
According to inkorr.com: The State Bureau of Investigation is actively working to expose individuals who betray Ukraine or cooperate with the aggressor during the war.
Criminal Proceedings
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the bureau has been investigating 2,780 criminal cases related to crimes against national security, including:
1,895 cases for acts of treason (Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine); 696 cases for collaborative activities (Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine); 46 cases for assisting the state-aggressor (Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and others.
As of the beginning of October 2025
- 1,519 individuals have been notified of suspicion;
- 515 individuals have been put on the wanted list;
- 1,351 individuals are being checked for involvement in treason and collaboration;
- 1,301 indictment acts have been sent to court.
Among the latest achievements are real punishments for defectors who sided with the enemy, as well as the exposure of collaborators who cooperated with the occupying administrations.
The State Bureau of Investigation continues its efforts to detect and hold accountable individuals who threaten Ukraine's national security. Currently, a system for investigating thousands of cases is being implemented, and the first results have already allowed for the prosecution of several collaborators and traitors. The seriousness of this problem is underscored by the consequences for those who engage in actions that threaten national security.
The State Bureau of Investigation is at the forefront of the fight for Ukraine's national interests, actively responding to threats from traitors and collaborators. Materials from criminal cases confirm that the situation remains complex; however, the efforts of law enforcement bring results.
