The state debt of Ukraine has exceeded 7 trillion hryvnias
The Ministry of Finance reported that the state and guaranteed state debt of Ukraine rose by 87.03 billion hryvnias in January 2025. The total amount of debt is 7.07 trillion hryvnias, which is equivalent to 168.99 billion US dollars.
The structure of the debt at the end of January is distributed as follows:
- External debt: 5.14 trillion hryvnias (122.9 billion US dollars), which constitutes 72.74% of the total amount.
- Domestic debt: 1.93 trillion hryvnias (46.07 billion US dollars), which constitutes 27.26% of the total amount.
The state debt of Ukraine amounts to 6.78 trillion hryvnias, which equals 162.08 billion US dollars. The guaranteed state debt reached 289.08 billion hryvnias (6.91 billion US dollars), which constitutes 4.09% of the total debt.
Ukraine and the USA have signed a final agreement.
